Welcome to Lincolnway Elementary School - Where Young Bulldogs Grow, Thrive, and Shine!
We are thrilled to welcome you to Lincolnway Elementary, where our second and third grade Bulldogs begin an exciting journey filled with discovery, connection, and growth. At Lincolnway, we are committed to creating a vibrant learning community where each child is empowered to explore their potential in a space that is safe, supportive, and full of joy. Every day, our students are encouraged to embrace challenges as opportunities to grow. Through hands-on, engaging instruction tailored to individual needs, our educators create a dynamic environment where learning is active, meaningful, and inclusive. Collaboration, creativity, and curiosity are at the heart of what we do, helping students build the foundational skills they’ll carry with them for a lifetime.
Social and emotional well-being is just as essential as academic success. That’s why we place a strong focus on nurturing the whole child. Our students learn how to work together respectfully, communicate effectively, and build lasting friendships—all within an environment where they feel seen, heard, and valued. We believe that when children feel emotionally secure and socially connected, they are free to take risks, solve problems together, and experience the true joy of learning. This joyful learning atmosphere is what makes Lincolnway a special place—not just for students, but for families, staff, and the wider community.
As the principal of Lincolnway Elementary, I am honored to be part of such a dedicated and caring team. Together with our families and community partners, we look forward to a school year filled with growth, laughter, and shared success. Let's make it a joyful and unforgettable journey—every student, every day.
Warmly,
Mr. Scott Shirey, Principal
